videocassette

Video cassette, before DVDs, DVRs, and streaming, used as VHS tapes to watch movies or record TV on a VCR. Generally described as a black tape with a white label between its reels. Occasionally used for various content related to movies and videos (recordings), and icons for videos, such as uploads, links, or before credits. Can also be used to represent an audio cassette. Microsoft's design previously resembled an icon for a voicemail box.
