mouse trap

A trap used to catch mice or other unwanted rodents. A metaphor for any kind of trap or entrapment in emoji form. The trap style shown on the major platforms features a box held aloft by a stick. A block of cheese is used to lure the mouse into the box, knocking the stick away, ensnaring - but not killing - the mouse. This is different from other mousetraps, which kill or injure the mouse upon capture.
