crossed swords

Two swords with steel blades in the shape of an X, crossed between two knights or warriors for combat. Usually depicted as straight double-edged blades with brown or black, cross-shaped hilts pointing to the point. Often used as a symbol of combat, battle, or tournament, as in sports. Sometimes shown with a gold handle.
